The RAG Foundation thanks the Harmon House Boutique Hotel, and in particular its owner, Vicky Gabrielle, for offering us a space during the beautiful vernissage on March 5, 2026.
The event was a success! Thank you to all the people who participated and to those who came to our stand interested in our cause: access to drinking water and child care.
This event allowed us to introduce the Foundation to a young audience in Brussels, present our projects and expand our network of contacts in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.
We are also grateful for the solidarity collaboration with the Afro-Belgian chocolate brand, Sigoji.
Its story is very beautiful: the cocoa in these chocolate chips comes from the plantations in Cameroon of the founder’s grandfather, Mrs. Euphrasie Mbamba. A family history that bears a certain similarity to ours, as the passion for this beautiful cause has been passed down through generations.
The idea behind the sale of these Afro-Belgian chocolates is to offer a touch of sweetness to children in need in Guinea-Bissau.
Thanks to this initiative, €620 has been raised that will go to the medical cures of children in need, treated in our pediatric hospital in Guinea-Bissau, not counting other voluntary donations made directly to the Foundation’s account.
Next week, the president and the director will travel on a mission to Guinea-Bissau and will not miss the opportunity to go to the Renato Grandi Paediatric Centre, where they will share the story of this fruitful event with the centre’s collaborators and families.
Thank you all for making it possible. It was a great opportunity to raise awareness about our mission.
